It's undeniable the extreme challenge single parenthood can be. In an interview with Joe White, an elderly resident of San Francisco who is a father to two daughters, he discusses the issue of single parenthood from personal experience. He lived with a single mother after his parents divorced when he was ten years of age. He stated that after the divorce, he felt happy because his dad wasn't a very good husband to his mother.
