What is a primary source of evidence?

• It is something that DOESN'T come from the time period being studied.

• It is a type of rock

• It is something that come from the time period being studied, for example, books, coins, an old map, and newspapers etc

• A textbook about Rome written in 2020

• A weapon from the Roman empire

• It is evidence or clues from the time period.

• Are books, songs or stories written or told about the event by someone who has researched the topic and wasn't at the event.
