หลักการทำคุณศัพท์ (adjective) ให้เป็นขั้นกว่า

• คำคุณศัพท์พยางค์ ให้เติม -er หลังคำคุณศัพท์

• เติม most หน้าคำคุณศัพท์ มีเสียงยาว

• เติม more หน้าคำคุณศัพท์ที่มีเสียงยาว

• คำศัพท์คุณศัพท์ที่เปลี่ยนรูป เมื่ออยู่ในขั้นกว่า
