Song Composer

He was commissioned by the Philippines First Lady to composed "Ako ay Pilipino" the national tribute hymn.

Few of his compositions are "Sa Ugoy ng Duyan", "Kahit Konting Pagtingin", and "Kalesa".

Few of his famous compositions are "Bayan Ko" , "Maalaal Mo Kaya", and "Pamaypay ng Maynila".

At the age of 6 he received his first training in music from his mother who taught him in his piano and violin lessons.

He was awarded as the National Artist of the Philippines for Music and literature in year 1997.
