Bible Decisions

Eve offered Adam fruit from the forbidden tree in the Garden of Eden. Adam:

• Refused even to touch the fruit.

• Killed the serpent for deceiving Eve.

• Accepted the fruit but did not eat it.

• Ate the fruit.

The Hebrews crossed the Red Sea and were soon met by the army of Amalek. The Israelites prevailed in battle only as long as Moses' hands and staff were raised. When Moses grew weary, Aaron and Hur:

• Persuaded Moses to let them take over while he slept.

• Held his arms up for him.

• Doubted God in their hearts.

• Mustered more men to join the battle.

While Moses delayed in returning from Mount Sinai with the law of God, the people:

• Asked Aaron to make a golden calf for them to worship.

• Nominated twelve men to a search party for Moses.

• Sent ambassadors to neighboring nations.

• Rejoiced in the blessings of their exodus so far.

Following Jesus' arrest, people recognized Peter and asked whether he was one of His disciples. Peter:

• Fled the city.

• Denied Him three times.

• Confirmed that he was and dared the people to have him arrested, too.

Jesus miraculously fed 5,000+ people with 5 barley loaves and 2 fish. Seeing that there were even leftovers, the people:

• Were afraid and tore their robes.

• Asked Him to turn stone to bread.

• Tried to make Jesus king.

Daniel spent the night in den of lions, and when morning came, Darius rushed to see whether God had preserved Daniel's life. Indeed, He had. The king:

• Cast the officials to the lions and decreed empire-wide reverence for God

• Decreed the return of the captives to Israel

• Punished everyone who had conspired against Daniel

Jesus was fasting in the wilderness for 40 days and nights. Satan tempted Him by asking Him to display His godly power on demand to combat the pain and lowliness of His humanity. Jesus:

• Had Satan bound for a thousand years.

• Answered him with applicable Old Testament scriptures.

• Spoke to the stones and turned them into bread.

The disciples had gone ahead of Jesus to cross the sea. Well into the trip, they noticed that Someone was catching up to them-- on foot. 'A ghost!' they said, but Jesus reassured them it was He. Peter:

• Refused to believe Him and kept rowing.

• Jumped from the boat and started swimming to shore.

• Asked Him to help him to walk on water, too, since only Jesus could do that.

Jesus and his disciples were about to reach Jerusalem. He sent them ahead to borrow a donkey and a colt to ride. The people realized Jesus was coming and ______.

• Cast garments, branches, and leaves before His route

• Gathered stones to keep Him out of the city

• Alerted the Roman government to arrest Him
