How assertive am I?

You are at McDonalds and order a burger with mayo but they give you one with ketchup. What do you do?

• Say ok, because you like kind of like ketchup

• Say no, and get angry with the manager because they got it wrong

• Talk to the waiter and ask them to change the sauce

You are in line waiting to go into a store and someone steps in front of you.

• Let the person in

• Tell the person that the line starts behind you

After leaving a shop you realize they gave you the wrong change.

You are watching TV and an adult asks you to stop watching TV and help them

• Say no, and keep watching TV

• Help them but feel grumpy at them

A friend visits your house but you need to do your homework.

• Tell your friend they are annoying and they should leave

• Don't say anything, and stay up late to finish your homework

At the movies you ask for a small drink, but they make a large and charge you more.

• Say that you only asked for a small drink and ask you only pay £2

• Demand to see the manager and complain about being ripped off

• Pay the £4 because the drink is already poured

Your friend is grumpy with you, but you don't know why!

• Ask them why they are grumpy, and try to be understanding

• Say mean things to other people about them

• Pretend you don't see them being grumpy and hope they stop it

You are at school and ask for a chicken sandwich but the cafeteria person gives you a burrito instead.

• Yell at the worker and tell them they messed up your order

• Respond in a polite voice that you asked for a chicken sandwich and would like that instead using words like please and thank you.

• Accept the food and not say anything.
