How did it come to that so much production takes place in China?

• China's products are trendy right now.

• Companies from other countries were allowed to make investments there

What are Joint ventures?

• Companies work together.

• Foreign companies only produce in China.

Why did China want to cooperate with foreign companies?

• They bring the Know-How

• They bring he technology

• They bring the building materials for the skyscrapers

However, Primark does not only produce the clothes so cheaply because China cooperates with Germany. What is another reason why things are so cheap in China?
