Biomes

Explorers Lenny and Dan were excited to visit as many (1)_______________________ as they could. They would have to travel around the world since each biome is located in different countries.

First, they went up North to the (2)_____________________. They saw animals such as reindeer and polar bears.

. Dan was getting too cold, so they went down to the (3)________________________ where it was much warmer. Lenny didn’t like how the days were hot and dry, and nights were too cold.

Also their water supply was getting low, so they moved on to the (4)_________________________ where there was plenty of water. Dan and Lenny filled their water bottles in a waterfall, picked bananas, and observed the animals.

. Time was running low, so they quickly moved to Africa to visit the African (5)________________________. It was an exciting place to see exotic animals such as lions and giraffes, but the land was quite flat and boring.

Before their trip came to an end, they decided to visit one last biome: the (6)__________________________. They stayed there for fall and winter so they could see the leaves from trees change colors and fall, then watch as the snow filled the forest. What an exciting adventure!
