Discipline, Listening to Advice and Instruction.

Choose which is NOT the act of discipline and listening to advice or instruction!

• I go to bed when my parents ask me to sleep.

• I actively listen when my teacher tells me to pay attention during the class.

• I am angry when my parents ask me to study for the test.

I have been playing roblux for 3 hours with my friends. Then, my mother asks me to stop playing first and finish your homework. What am I supposed to do?

• I will shout to my mother because I am angry.

• I will tell my mother that I have finished my homework, even though I haven't.

• I will stop playing and finish my homework.

Do some self reflection. Is it easy for you to listen to advice or accept instruction? Why or why not?

• Ignore because I never take advice from anyone.

• Angry because friends are not supposed to give any advice.

• Sad because my friend is supposed to accept everything I do, whether It's good or bad.

• Listen and not say bad words anymore.

I am at Mandarin subject zoom meeting with Ling-Ling Laoshi. She tell me to pay attention to her teachings. Choose which of these you have to do! You can choose more than one answer ^_^

• Secretly play games with another device without her knowing.

• Actively listen to her teachings and look at the screen carefully.

• Ask her questions when I don't understand.

• Sleep or ignore because I think Mandarin is boring.

• Take notes when needed.

My teachers instruct every students to raise hand first before saying something or answering questions. One day, a teacher is telling my classmate to answer the question. My classmate takes a long time to answer because he/she is still thinking. What am I supposed to do?

• Directly unmute myself and say the answer to the teacher, because my friend is wasting the time.

• Raise hand and wait for the teacher to point me to answer the question.
