Bob is talking to Jake, but then Jake spills water on Bob's shirt. Bob is extremely mad. He yelled at Jake and Jake yelled at Bob. They started fighting. You saw everything. What will you do to stop them from fighting?

What is assertiveness?

• Definitions of passiveness. the trait of remaining inactive; a lack of initiative. synonyms: passivity. types: apathy, indifference, numbness, spiritlessness. the trait of lacking enthusiasm for or interest in things generally.

• Self-assertive means obtrusively energetic especially in pursuing particular goals. aggressive implies a disposition to dominate often in disregard of others' rights or in determined and energetic pursuit of one's ends.

• Assertiveness is the quality of being self-assured and confident without being aggressive. In the field of psychology and psychotherapy, it is a skill that can be learned and a mode of communication.

Can you tell me a -SHORT- story when you show assertiveness to someone (it could be anyone). You have 1 minute, 3-4 people will be called if you want to share the time when you help a person or do something good then here's your chance :D.
