What is the purpose of a creed?

• To hold a voters meeting.

• To confess what their faith/belief.

• To share/discuss their feelings.

• To write a biblical song.

What does the First Article of the Apostle's Creed tell us?

• What God expects from us.

• How we can serve God.

• What God is doing for us in our lives.

• Where we can find God.

Why are we FREE?

• Because Jesus paid our penalty by defeating sin, death, and the devil.

• We have paid off our debt through good works

• Jesus gives us a loan that we must pay back

• Jesus tell's us we are free to sin as much as we want since we are forgiven.

What does the 2nd Article of the Apostle's Creed tell us?

• Jesus is our homeboy

• We have a Lord. Jesus is THE Lord.

• Jesus wants to control your life

• Jesus was created to be THE LORD.

What is the Third Article of the Apostles Creed?

• I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,

• I believe in the Holy Spirit,

  the holy catholic Church,

  the communion of saints,

  the forgiveness of sins,

  the resurrection of the body,

  and the life everlasting.

• Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.Thy kingdom come.Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

• I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
