Transitions/Tardy

What is the purpose of transitions?

• For teachers to see everyone.

• To give students break and chance to see their friends/boo

• So students can escape the torture

• For teachers to escape the madness

Why do teachers have to lock their doors at the end of transition?

• Because we are monsters.

• We like to see the light dim from your eyes

• We have to, so you can get a tardy slip

• We are doing a science experiment

What do you need to get to be able to get into a room if you are late?

• A tardy slip

• A valid excuse

• A lame excuse

• A book that tells you how to lie better

What should be on the slip?

• The name of your first born child

• A plagiarized signature

• A cool drawing of your favorite cartoon character

• Date, Time, Name

When are you allowed to use the restroom?

• While the teacher is giving instruction

• After first 10, before last 10.

• On the school bus

• In the courtyard

What is the actual reason you should not be tardy/absent?

• Being in class will lead to more success in class
