A frog is called an amphibian. Why?

• Because it breathes in water and out of water.

• Because it catches food with its tongue.

• Because its skin is slippery.

What do we call a baby frog?

What do frogs eat?

• Insects

• Small fish

• Water plants

Where do frogs live?

• On the seashore

• In deep wells

• Near fresh water

What do frogs do when it's dry in summer?

• They die.

• They dig holes in the mug.

• They go down into the sea.

Why are frogs getting rare in Malta?

• Because they can't find enough food.

• Because cars squash many frogs.

• Because their habitat is drying up.

If you see a frog in nature, what do you do?

• Take it home and keep it as a pet.

• Pick it up to look at it, then let it go.

• Leave it where it is.

Why are frogs important in nature?

• Because they are part of the foodchain.

• Because they eat lots of nasty mosquitoes.

• Because they live only in Malta and nowhere else.
