Mrs. McKnight's Classroom Procedures & Expectations

I understand that today's warm-up activity is a contract on the classroom rules and expectations for Mrs. McKnight's class. I understand that there has been a lot of disrespect, chaos, and lack of learning that has prevented me and my classmates from having a productive learning environment so the rules and expectations are being reviewed.

I understand that I am NOT allowed to have my cellphone during class. I KNOW that I am supposed to turn my cellphone in to the teacher at the beginning of class and it will be returned at the end of class. If I am caught not following the rules, I understand that I can lose access to my device for the entire day or longer.

I am aware that when I enter class, I have 10 minutes to get settled and complete my Do Now task.

I understand that if I go to the restroom before class starts, I am to go to the restroom and come straight back to class because if I am tardy, I may be left outside of the classroom.

I understand that it is expected of me and my classmates to be respectful of each other and the teacher at all times and if I am not, I will suffer negative consequences.

I understand that it is expected of me and my classmates to complete all classwork and homework with the intent to make a good grade and if I do not, my grade will suffer.
