What is a claim?

• An opinion that is supported by things that are not true.

• A fact that is only supported by evidence.

• Information that asks a question.

• An explanation for an opinion.

What is evidence?

• Facts or information supporting an opinion/claim.

• Information that that is useless in an argument.

• Opinions that are similar.

• Ways in which claims can fail.
