I visit sites to observe environmental problems, consult with contractors, and/or monitor construction activities. Sometimes I design agricultural machinery components and equipment, using computer-aided design technology.

I examine animals to detect and determine the nature of diseases or injuries. Further, I treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery.

I direct rehearsals to instruct dancers in how to use dance steps, and in techniques to achieve desired effects. I experiment with different types of dancers, steps, dances, and placements, testing ideas informally to get feedback from dancers.

I control and extinguish fires or respond to emergency situations where life, property, or the environment is at risk. My duties may include fire prevention, emergency medical service, hazardous material response, search and rescue, and disaster management.
