What is the thesis statement and where does it go?

• Basically an outline for your paper and tells the reader what each paragraph will be about; the last sentence of the Introduction paragraph.

• The most important part of the paper and it should be the very first sentence of the Introduction paragraph.

• It is just a sentence to make your paragraph longer; it can go anywhere you want.

• What's a thesis statement? Ms. Cadigan NEVER talks about it...
