What is expected of me in Ms. K's Biology class?

• To always give my best work, be respectful, turn in assignments on time, and have fun

• To just show up

• To never speak, remain seated at all times, to never raise my hand

• To have a good time, occasionally listen to directions, always run in class

When having conversations in the classroom it is expected that I...

• We may only whisper because Ms. K doesn't want to hear us

• We cannot speak in class

• whisper to my tablemates, speak at a level tone while answering questions, or use my presentation voice while presenting

• Yelling everything

When doing an activity or lab I must...

• Come up with my own instructions because that's how I feel

• Never pay attention because we will not be doing anything anyways

• Follow Ms. K's directions and pay attention to what is happening inside the laboratory

• To only follow instructions that matter to me because I know what's best

If there is a drill, what will be expected of you?

• Ms. K will not tell us it is a drill and therefore I will not know what to do

• If there is a drill we need to panic immediately

• If there is a drill I will go to the bathroom because I can't be bothered with it

• Ms. K will let us know if there is a drill and we must follow her directions

if I have a question or comment I must...

• raise my hand and wait to be called on

• shout it out in class

• make a poster and hold it up in class

• interrupt Ms. K while she is talking

If I need to use the bathroom or get a drink of water I am expected to...

• Use the lab sinks

• Never use the bathroom or drink water

• Check the bathroom light by the door and if it is off I can leave the room quietly

• Raise my hand and wait to be given permission to leave

Ms. K's rules make sense and are easy to follow

• Yes! The rules are clear and easy to follow. I will do my best to uphold them.

• Her expectations are too extreme. I do not know if I will be able to meet them.

• I do not know her rules, they were not clear.

• Some of the rules were clear and made sense...I would like some clarifications on some though.
