• quietly and begin reading.

• Singing a song.

• shouting “hi” to your best friend.

If you are at a different place in your lab experiment you may

• look at others and copy their results.

• skip steps to catch up.

• continue following directions in the order they are given.

• quit...you are not going to finish anyway.

Before you do an experiment you should

• chat with your friends.

• make sure that all of your clothes are loose fitting.

• practice mixing different chemicals.

• read all of the directions first.
