Mathematics as a subject can trace it's foundations back into the early Egyptian and Babylonian kingdoms. The subject as we know it today emerged simultaneously in many different areas of the world such as the Middle East, China and India. The Greeks were credited with a large number of contributions and significantly advanced the academic field to more of what you would recognise today. The dark ages then ensued in the early time after Christ and it wouldn't be until the Renaissance age in Italy and throughout Europe that we would again see huge advancements in Mathematics made by English, French, German, Italian and Swiss academics. As a subject it has grown into a global subject with many countries contributing to its enhancement. Now that this has all been said and done, what is the solution to the question nine add three? You may have up to and including forty-five seconds to submit your written answer to this problem.
