A good rule to follow when using a circular saw:

• Use both hands

• coat the blade in mayonnaise

• cut the power cord

• close your eyes

Use a circular saw to:

• slice cheese

• make straight cuts--crosscut or rip cuts

• cut curves in wood

• drill holes in wood
