How often are you required to undertake Fire Safety Training

• Only as part of induction at start of employment

• Once Every 6 mouths

• Only when the weather is heating up

• Following a fire at your facility

If you find Essential Safety Equipment that is damaged

• Pass the details to the patient that it may affect

• Follow your procedures for reporting such issues as well as notifying your manager/ supervisor

• Wait to the next OH&S meeting to report it

• Leave it as someone else should pick it up.

What is NOT a good practice for Housekeeping

• Placing a power cord in the center of walkways

• Keep work areas clear and free of no-essential materials

• Clean your workspace at the end of shift before the next person takes over

• Putting equipment back in the correct storage area while not in use

• Ask for the installation of power point in suitable location

• Place a cover / protector over the cord to prevent trips slips and falls as well as to protect cord.
