Nehemiah 11&12

Meditation verse for the Book of Nehemiah chapters 11&12:

In chapter 11, we learn about choosing  new dwellers and local leaders in Jerusalem. 

In chapter 12, we learn about the priests and the levites in the first return and the dedication of Jerusalem walls.

In chapter 12 verse 27, we read how the Levites dedicated the walls with gladness and thanksgiving. We should serve the Lord with joy and sincere heart knowing that He will reward us the heavenly rewards.
