• When she wanted to take them a picture, Percy took his magic camera, and He took her the picture, converting her into a cement statue.

• He cut her head with his sword and her body began to disintegrate, but not her head.

• When Percy and Grover suspected she was Medusa, Grover started to play his flute, and that converted all the cement statues into real persons, so they defeated her.

• He used Grovers flying shoes in oreder to fly over her and he pushed her into the fire.
