Phantom power...?

• Sends power to active equipment such as DIs and condensor mics

• Reverses the polarity of the signal when using two mics

• Is used to cut frequencies below a set amount

• Is used to power Ribbon mics

Phase invert...?

• Boosts or attentuates the incoming signal. This can be used due to the inbuilt pre-amp.

• Reduces the dynamic range between the loudest and softest parts of a channel.

• Adds 48v of power to a piece of equipment, such as active DIs and condenser mics.

• Reverses the polarity of the signal typically when using 2 mics on the same source

Gain pot...?

• Changes the volume of the channel relative to the other tracks on the mixing desk.

• Boosts the signal (voltage) of the sound coming into the mixing desk through the pre-amp.

• Changes the set frequency being affected during the EQ stage

• Send the signal through to the foldback wedges

Sweep EQ...?

• Allows you to boost or cut one set frequency

• Allows you to bypass the EQ section of the mixing console

• Allows you to set the type (shape) of the EQ - shelf, band, notch...

• Allows you to choose a set frequency to boost or cut.

The _ sends on a mixer give you the ability to route channels to an output for FX, foldback monitors or other speakers independent of the main output.

If you want the AUX send level to be affected by the channel's fader, you have to use the _ aux pot.

When sending the signal either left or right in a channel, you must use the _ pot.

To completely cut/stop a signal from being sent to the main outputs, you must use the _ button.

PFL stands for?

PFL will allow you to...?

• Listen to all of the channels through the headphone send on the mixing console

• Listen and monitor a selected track and represent the signal strength in the LED metering

• Listen to the selected channels WITHOUT any of the EQ, comprossion, effects, etc.

• Hear all tracks with the exception of the track chosen, effectively muting that track
