-Charging manifold consists of two cups, one inside the other, inner cup is a high pressure vessel. Liquid being sampled is allowed to flow between the two cups until the sampling cup is cooled. Inlet valve is opened to fill the inner cup, and then closed to retain a known volume of liquid in the cup.
