QUIZ - GRIPS

In order to select the 2 grips shown. 1st press & hold the ​ (a)   key prior to selecting the first grip & the second grip.

When you select an object in AutoCad it highlights & grips are displayed in ​ (a)   . While selected if you move your cursor to hover over the grip it changes color to ​ (b)   . When you specifically select a grip its color changes to ​ (c)   .

• BLUE
• PINK
• RED

If you select a line to display its grips, then select the ENDPOINT grip you can STRETCH the line. However, if you want to ROTATE the line you must either right-click & rotate OR press the ​ (a)   to cycle to ROTATE.

To END grip editing press the ​ (a)   key.

To activate a grip OFFSET SNAP VALUE when copying a line hold down the ​ (a)   key after creating the first copy.

The line shown in the image is 15" long. To increase the length to 16" WITHOUT changing the angle, choose ​ (a)   from the dynamic menu. To toggle between stretch & lengthen press the ​ (b)   key.

To REMOVE the display of grips for an entity press the ​ (a)   key.
