Student Created Moral Dilemmas Part 2

You are staying at your house and you get two texts, one from your best friend of 10 years and the other is from your wife you have been married to for 15 years. The text from your friend says that he is about to get jumped by three people and if you go you’ll be able to fight them off but if you don’t go your friend will get beat to death. The text from your wife says that she is about to have your firstborn child after you have had struggles to have kids throughout your whole marriage. Would you go see your first child be born or let your friend die in a fight?

You went to the park with your baby niece to catch up on some homework before the weekend is over and to also spend some quality time with your nice. You look over and see a baby maybe about 2 years old unattended on a really tall rock wall stuck and is hanging on one single rock and is about to fall with wood chips underneath her and would get seriously hurt if she happens to fall, but you also see your niece on the top of a small slide crying because there is a stray dog jumping and barking trying to get to your niece.

• Do you go help the little girl from the tall rock wall and bring her to safety and risk your nieces safety? 

• Do you go save your niece from the stray dog. And risk saving this little girl that could seriously hurt herself?

You are a straight A student in high school. The SAT is coming up this weekend. You didn't review like you were supposed to because you were out with your friends. All night before the exam.

  If you get caught cheating on the exam your text will be thrown out and you will not be allowed to retake the SAT. But if you don't get a good grade you wont get into your dream school. 

  Do you risk getting caught but get a good grade.. OR... Do you hope the test is easier than you anticipate and not cheat but risk not getting into your dream school.

If you were on a mountain with your best friend (with a very bad sense of direction) and a few strangers and one of them is starting to fall behind and looks like they could pass out at any minute and they look like they really need to get off the mountain and get  help, but if you go to help them you won't be able to catch up with your best friend and help them to get to the top. What would you do?

There is only one room left in the hospital, there are two people in need of that room but they cant share. One is bleeding out and needs stitches very urgently. The other one is about to deliver a baby. There is a chance that if he doesn't get stitches he could die because he is losing so much blood.Or the mom who might have effects on her or the baby for waiting to deliver the baby.

You are in a trio friend group. One friend has been with you since birth, the other friend you met in kindergarten, and you’ve been close with them for your whole life. The two friends are dating. One day, on a walk, you see your friend since kindergarten, cheating on your friend since birth. You know it would be the right thing to do to tell your friend since birth, but you don’t want to lose the friendship with your friend since kindergarten. But you know if you don’t tell them, you will ruin the friendship with the friend since birth.

You are a rich and wealthy person. You are driving home from work to try to see your daughter and say goodbye before she leaves for summer camp, for 4 weeks. You were so excited to see her that you didn’t realize your gas was low.

You aren’t too far away, but you don’t have enough gas to get to your house on time. There is only one nearby gas station but it is located in the most rotten and violent neighborhood around. So much so that if you drove your nice car in there and they saw it and all your rich memorabilia, then they all would most likely try to pummel and rob you.

• Drive as far as you can and try to run home before your daughter leaves, possibly making it in time, but risk being able to see her for weeks as this is a no-electronics camp, and still having to get your car gassed again?

• Drive through the neighborhood to get gas, but risk getting beat up and robbed by the hood civilians, definitely not making it if they do catch you?

You and your best friend are playing in the train tracks (smart I know) and they fall on the tracks as soon as a train starts coming but there is a switch which will change the direction of the tracks where farther down there is 4 people you don't know which do you choose

It’s the end of the school week, and you’re about to board your bus, which is ready to leave. But then, you realize; you left your backpack in your last class! If you go to retrieve your backpack, you’ll miss the bus, and you’ll have to wait to get picked up by your parents 2 hours later! But, if you leave your backpack in the school, you won’t have your phone for the weekend! You have two options.

• Retrieve your backpack, miss the bus, and wait 2 hours to get picked up.

• Leave your backpack, get home within 20 minutes, but not have your phone for the weekend.

It's 3am and your in the back of an abandoned Denny’s, in front of you is your spouse who has been cheating on you for a few years and their side chick. They appear to be in a heated conversation when suddenly one pushes the other and makes them stumble, a vile of what looks like raspberry sauce rolls in front of you.

That's when they finally notice you, the side chick explains that they told your spouse to simply leave you to be with them and was told that they did and only till earlier did they find out that it was a lie. Then your spouse starts to explain that they had did that but only because they didn't want to leave you and that the reason they had ever cheated was only to get enough money in order to provide for you and your child, though they suddenly remember where the previous argument had led and that they need the vile. When you ask why, the side chick spurs into alarm and states that they were both poisoned and the vile contains the antidote, but only for one, also saying that they would be willing to give you plenty money for you and your child as well as the hospital bills and that they didn't mean to date your spouse while you two were still married.
