If I were a controlled vocabulary, I would be

• Getty TGN (cosmopolitan, well-travelled)

• LCNAF

  (very social, useful in a lot of different contexts)

• Homosaurus (newer on the scene, interested in specific community needs)

• LCSH

  (well-read, interested in lots of different ideas)

I enjoy creating documentation of functions that I'm part of at my workplace.

• Ehhhhhhhh. I hate it / don't really know how to do it / could use a lot more support

• Not my favorite, but I'll do it when I have lots of structure to support me.

• Yeah, it's part of the job and I don't have a problem getting it done.

• I am the go-to person at work for people who want advice about creating documentation!

What's a manual, a standard, or a reference source that has been super useful to you in your work?

My most common information-seeking style when I'm trying to figure out the right thing to do at work:

• I call someone I trust for their advice

• I try to find as many authoritative sources as I can and spend a lot of time reading all of them

• I skim quickly until I find the first good option that seems like it will work

• I look for examples of what was done before.
