Tanya Chapter 15

״וְשַׁבְתֶּם וּרְאִיתֶם בֵּין צַדִּיק לְרָשָׁע, בֵּין עוֹבֵד אֱלֹהִים לַאֲשֶׁר לֹא עֲבָדוֹ״.

• And you shall remain and disregard between the righteous and the wicked, between one who fears G–d and one who does not fear Him.”
• And you shall return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves G–d and one who does not serve Him.”
• And you shall turn away and blend between the righteous and the wicked, between one who worships G–d and one who worships idols.”

שֶׁהוּא בֶּאֱמֶת עֲבוֹדָה וְעָמָל גָּדוֹל

• It involves much effort and much toil
• It involves little effort and little toil.
• It involves no effort and no toil.
• It involves great reward and no toil.

וְלִבּוֹ חָלַל בְּקִרְבּוֹ.

• And is heart was full inside of him.
• And his heart was hollow outside of him.
• And is heart was hollow inside of him.

מַתְמִיד בְּלִמּוּדוֹ

• Bookworm by accident.
• Bookworm by birth.

וְנַעֲשָׂה הַהֶרְגֵּל לוֹ טֶבַע שֵׁנִי

• And his habit becomes his last nature.
• and his habit becomes his second nature
• And his habit becomes his third nature.
• And his habit becomes his first nature.

צָרִיךְ לְעוֹרֵר אֶת הָאַהֲבָה לַה׳ עַל יְדֵי שֶׁמִּתְבּוֹנֵן בִּגְדוּלַּת ה׳

• He needs to awaken the love for Hashem through contemplating on Hashem's greatness
