( 7 to 11) This stage marks the true beginning of logical ( operational) thinking during which children can make deductions based on thought rather than te actual physical realities. They also learn the concept of conservation during which the core of a thing remains the same even if its appearance is transformed. Ex 3 hotdogs are still 3 hotdogs even if cut in half
