What is the late work policy?

• 5pts will be deducted from late assignments after 1 day late.

• Mrs. Vasquez does not accept any late work.

• You can turn it in up until the end of the unit with no penalty.

In order to to receive credit for your assignments, you must:

• Put your first & last name and turn it into the bin.

• Put your first & last name, fill it out entirely, and make sure it is YOUR work.

• Complete the entire assignment free of errors.

In order to be eligible for a retake, you must:

• Study for 2 hours minimum

• Attend a tutoring session to revisit concepts/skills

• Ask Mrs. Vasquez for permission

• Mrs. Vasquez does not allow retakes for any assignments or assessments

What is AP Classroom?

• Online account that will have your assignments, learning checkpoints, etc.

• Online website where you can take practice exams to prepare for the AP Exam.

• Online account that allows you to check your grades and email your teacher.

Any student who is not in class when the bell rings will be sent to SWEEP.

You may not knock on the door UNLESS-

• You have a pass from your previous class period teacher.

• You have a pass from a random class period teacher.

• You were coming from lunch.

• You brought Mrs. Vasquez Starbucks.

Students will be required to put cellphones/headphones away at the start of class. If devices are out during instruction-

• The privilege will be taken away completely. The student will need to put their phone to charge for the rest of the class period.

• A parent will be notified of the students misuse of their device.

• The student will receive an automatic detention for being on their phone during instruction.

• ALL AP Lang Students will take the AP Lang & Comp Exam in May

• AP Lang Students who decide they would like to take the AP Lang & Comp Exam will do so in May

• AP Lang Students who decide they would like to take the AP Lang & Comp Exam will do so in March

• ALL AP Lang Students will take the AP Lang & Comp Exam in October
