What are the expectations when entering the classroom?

• Ask Ms. Grant questions about yesterday's assignment.

• Enter at a voice level 0 and immediately begin working on your do now.

• Run to the desk you want to sit at.

What should we do if we miss a day of school?

• Get up from your seat and go to the missing work file.

• Don't worry about it, that was yesterday and we are on today.

• Raise our hand to get permission from the teacher to go to the missing work file and retrieve a copy.

• Ask our neighbor what they did

When should we get out of our seats without permission?

• Never

• When someone is being mean

• When you need a tissue

• When you want Ms. Grant to see your work

At the end of class, Ms. Grant will call our section to dismiss, where should we put our classwork and exit tickets?

• Take it with me

What is the first thing you should do when you get your paper?

• Talk to your neighbor about what you did last year.

• Yell "I'm done!"

When do we complete exit tickets?

• Right before our parents get our progress reports.

• The last 10 minutes of class

Why should we try the challenge question?

• After someone gives you the answer

• So that we can skip other questions on our document.

• Challenges help us get better and it is extra credit.

• We shouldn't because it is hard
