Treasure Island Ch. 6 (My Story)

After the fighting was over, Dr. Livesay was not to be found. His men thought

Jim also left the camp. He went looking for

When Jim was walking along the beach looking for the white rock, he saw

While in the boat, Jim had a strange idea. He decided to

• row all the way home

• look for the treasure himself

• sink the Hispanolia

• wait til dark, and then cut the Hispaniola free

When Jim cut the rope to the Hispaniola,

• he hoped the ship would sail out to sea with Silver's men

• he hoped she would sink

• he helped Silver's men set the sails

• Jim and his men were on board

Jim did not want his little boat to tip over, so

• he cut the rope, one piece at a time

• he swam out to the Hispaniola

• he went and got a bigger boat.

With the ship cut free, Jim pulled himself up to a window just enough to

• jump onto the ship

• bang his head and fall into the water

• pull his little boat onto the Hispaniola

• see two men fighting

If Silver's men knew that Jim was cutting the ship's rope,
