Jim lost his zim. He couldn’t find it anywhere. Without his zim, he couldn’t nap. He wanted to hug his zim while he fell asleep. He asked his mom, but she didn’t know where his zim was.

“Maybe you took it to school,” she suggested.

He went to school and asked Mrs. Crabtree. 

“Perhaps you left it at a friend’s house,” she thought.

Jim went to his friend Bim’s house. It wasn’t there either.

Finally, he decided to clean his room and found his zim under bed. He gave his zim a big hug!

Steve loved recess. It was his favorite time of the day, because he got to play soccer. Steve loved soccer, because he was the best soccer player. He always scored goals when he was forward and he always saved goals when he was goalie. And he never let anyone past when he defended. The problem was his friend Hank who never scored a goal, always let people past, and never stopped the ball. Steve always got mad at Hank. And he always thought the other team cheated when his team lost. One day, everyone asked Steve to stop playing soccer. 

“You are too spucious!”

Steve wanted to play soccer again, but he knew if he did, he would still want to win. Finally, Steve got an idea. Next recess, he said, “Hey, let’s not keep score! Can I play again?”

Hank said, “Sure!”

Steve was finally able to play again and, even though, he was still a little spucious, because he wanted to be the best, he wasn’t too spucious because he didn’t care if he won or lost.

I was so excited to go to the prients. I had never ridden on a carousel before or on a ferris wheel. It was so fun to look at all the different animals, too. Before we came home from the prients my mom even bought me funnel cake. It was the best day. I can’t wait for the prients to come back next year.

Meredith’s worst camping trip ever was when her mom and dad forgot to pack the hialite. For three days, she had to hide from the sun even though she was outside, because without the hialite she would definitely get a sunburn. She had red hair and freckles. She put on hialite before her 20 minute recess everyday! She came back from the trip as red as a tomato. All because her parents had forgotten the hialite.

Pete loved to stop by the construction site to watch the catermich work. Most people like bulldozers, backhoes, or excavators, but Pete loved watching the catermich. He loved watching them dump out a full load and he marveled over how much they were able to carry.

Benedict had a serious problem. He had a terrible cough, but he was supposed to give a speech. He had tried taking cold medicine, cough medicine, flu medicine, stuffy nose medicine, and anything else that might help. Nothing seemed to work. His friend Lex gave him holoratives. Benedict had never had a holorative before. He thought it was candy. But Lex said it was like candy, but would help make him stop coughing and even make his throat feel better. It worked and his speech went great. Benedict always keeps some holoratives now just in case.

Lady Gobstopper was enjoying her favorite candy, chewing gum one day, when suddenly she saw a xa dangling from the ceiling. 

“Ahhhhhhh!!!!!” she screamed, as she spit out her gum and ran from the room.

She found her father, the Duke of Wonka, and said, “There’s a xa in my room! Get rid of it!”

But her father said, “What kind of xa is it? It may help get rid of some pests.”

Lady Gobstopper said, ‘I don’ know. I don’t like xas. It was black, had eight legs, and was furry.”

Her dad said, “Oh, that’s a rogh. They’re harmless. Let it live and it will kill all the mosquitos and other bugs in your room.”

And the Lady Gobstopper ran out of the castle and never came back.

Mabel hates jimb-blowers. They are always making so much noise every morning. Why do people want to clean up all the jimbs, anyway. She loves playing with the jimbs. She collects them. She makes them into a pile and jumps into them. She uses them as money for her pretend bakery. The jimbs make the streets and sidewalks colorful.

Greg loves to go fishing, and he finally bought his dream punm. It has plenty of seats for all his friends. It has a steering wheel, so he can sit and be captain of his punm. It even has a trailer, so he can tow it to his favorite lakes and spend a day out on the punm. The only problem is now everyone wants him to take them out on his punm. He still doesn’t get enough time to go fishing.

On Friday nights, I used to be so happy! My parents would always order geyflorrin. But then my dad decided we should make geyflorrin. He bought crusts, sauce, cheese, and toppings. It was so much fun. Then, he decided to start making the sauce. It wasn’t as good as the geyflorrin sauce from the store, but it was OK. Then he decided to make the crust. He would combine flour, water, salt, and yeast the night before and then we would try to toss it. My brother got a crust stuck to the ceiling. Now our geyflorrin always had weird crusts that were too thick or got stuck to the pan, or something like that. Now I hate Fridays!
