An experimenter conducted an experiment to determine if putting fertilizer on their indoor plants make them bloom. The experimenter put plant A, an African Violet, on a window sill and was not given fertilizer for 6 months. Plant B, a philodendron, was placed on the kitchen table and was given fertilizer for 6 months. Both plants had the same pots and water amounts.
