The Model

• Always has a great deal to say, although some ideas are irrelevant.

• Interested in getting things started and achieving results as quickly as possible.

• Makes every effort to help the group reach its goals.

• Wants to show this knowledge to other members of the team.

The Brilliant One

• Wants to show this knowledge to other members of the team.

• Reacts too strongly to any suggestions and arguments.

• Interested in getting things started and achieving results as quickly as possible.

The Suspicious One

• This person often has a narrow view of everything.

• Doubtful and suspicious of every idea.

• Gets frustrated that others are not as clever.

• Needs proof that they are different from everybody else.

The Aggressive One

• Wants to prevent something dangerous from happening at the meeting.

• May directly or indirectly ridicules every thought and suggestion expressed in the meeting.

• Has own agenda.

• Wants his/her ideas accepted.

The Politician

• Participates in the meeting with the sole aim of building relations and having fun.

• Wants to get noticed by everybody and wants to create an impact

• Expresses some thoughts which are seemingly very different from others

• Picks fights with the leader by indicating that he/she has the inside story.

The Debunker

• This person wants the decision of the meeting to be based on his/her agenda.

• Has nothing to contribute and therefore does not want anybody else to contribute.

• Prevent any misunderstandings or quarrels in the meeting.

• This person is capable and ambitious and want to be noticed by everybody.

The Blocker

• Wants his/her ideas accepted no matter what.

• Refuses to talk but gets frustrated when others assume they agree.

• Prevent any misunderstandings or quarrels in the meeting.

• Needs proof that they are different from everybody else.

The Emotional One

• Interested in getting things started and achieving results as quickly as possible.

• Has extreme reactions to ideas and events.

• Wants the team to search for new ideas and new challenges.

• Seems to agree with everyone and every suggestion.

The Special Pleader

• Capable and ambitious.

• Has own agenda.

• Doubtful and suspicious.

• Cautious and careful.

The Recognition Seeker

• Participates in the meeting with the sole aim of building relations and having fun.

• Picks fights with the leader by indicating that he/she has the inside story.

• Needs proof that they are different from everybody else.

• This person is capable and ambitious and wants to create an impact.
