Cut Nyak Dien was known for her bravery and leadership in the fight for Aceh's independence. At a young age, she was married to Teuku Umar, another prominent figure in the Aceh War. After her husband's death, she continued to lead the resistance, commanding a group of guerrilla fighters. Her determination and sacrifice inspired many.
