Notice how each set of distances and times can be divided to create a row showing the distance traveled in one minute.

Both Diego and Andre ran 150 meters in one minute, or 150 meters per minute, so they ran at the same speed.

To keep ratios equivalent, you must multiply or divide both values by the same number, much like equivalent fractions.
