Chapter 9 - Vents and Venting

In Section 901, " (a)   , except as otherwise provided in this Code, shall be protected against siphonage and back-pressure."

In Section 901, "Each plumbing fixture trap, except as otherwise provided in this Code, shall be protected against (a)   ."

In Section 901, " (a)   shall be assured throughout all parts of the excreta drainage system by means of vent pipes installed in accordance with the requirements of this Chapter and as required in this Code."

In section 902.1, the (a)   shall be properly tapped and vented.

In Section 903.1, " (a)   shall be cast iron, ductile cast iron, galvanized steel, galvanized wrought iron, lead, copper, brass, Schedule 40, ABS, DWV, Series 1000, PVC, DWV or other approved materials having a smooth and uniform bore except that:"

In Section 903.1.1, No (a)   shall be used underground and shall be kept at least 15 cm. above ground.
