What is empiricism?

• The claim that sense experience is the ultimate source of all our concepts and knowledge

What are innate ideas?

• ideas (or knowledge) that is/are understood to be ‘in us’ when we are born.

• Innate ideas are ideas that are unique to each individual
• Innate ideas are ideas that are only present in the mind after birth
• Innate ideas are ideas that are learned through experience

What does it mean if something is dubitable?

• If something is dubitable, it means it is unquestionable and certain.
• If something is dubitable, it means it is widely accepted and proven.
• If something is dubitable if you can doubt it - if it is less than 100% certain.
