When coming into the class in the mornings before announcements, what should I do?

What should I do when math class starts?

• Talk to my friends until Ms. Kirilyuk asks me to do the warm-up.

• Play games until Ms. Kirilyuk asks me to do the warm-up.

• Ask to go to the bathroom.

• Look at the board and read what Ms. Kirilyuk is asking me to do for my warm-up.

When Ms. Kirilyuk tells me I need my notebook and/or the warm-up sheet,
what is the best way I can do that?

• Volunteer to pass out a few notebooks and/or warm-up sheets so that not everyone has to wait to get theirs.

• Wait for Ms. Kirilyuk to tell me again.

• Push and shove until I can get my notebook and/or the sheet so I can start.

• Flip the orange 5-minute timer and begin. After my time is up, I'll exit the area.

• Grab the white "Zen Zone" binder and grab a Zen Zone slip to fill out.

• Use the calming technique pages in the binder to calm down. I can also take out one of the pages in the back and fill them out.

• Finish filling out the Zen Zone slip and then I can place it on Ms. Kirilyuk's desk before returning to my desk.
