Mum, Dad, you might want to brace yourselves for what I’m about to say, but Emily and I have decided to do something kind of bonkers. As you know, I’ve been banging on about the burgeoning stress of my work, and, well, we've decided to leave our jobs and do something far more exhilarating.
We're going to travel the world and live out of our backpacks! Yes, I know it sounds mad, but we've never felt more certain about anything. Instead of boardrooms and suits, we'll have mountains, forests and endless beaches. Our colleagues think we're one sandwich short of a picnic, but we're looking for something different, something that makes us feel alive.
