Third Party Authorization

When a third party (An individual that is not the account holder) contacts us, they would be required to verify these details:

• Full name of the account holder

• Date of birth of the account holder

• All verification Questions

• 1 Verification question

Once the third party has verified the previous details, you will need to find an _______ from Underwriting which will confirm the name of the authorized 3rd party and how long the annotation is valid for. You will need to check the name and any further information within the body of the note. (e.g. - Date of birth)

What is an example of an authorized third party ?

If the third party is unable to provide the details required or there is no annotation on the account from Underwriting (Select the appropriate steps )

• we cannot discuss ANY account information with the caller.

• We can discuss ANY and all information on the account eith the caller

There are two things unauthorized parties are able to do. (Select all that apply)

• Arrange a return

  If the item is being collected this must be from the delivery address only, which must be confirmed by the caller.

• Make a payment

  For an amount specified by the caller. If asked to take the minimum (or take 3 for Very) payment required, we must ask the caller must confirm the exact amount to be taken We cannot confirm if the payment has been received on time
