Modem Swap

1st step when performing a modem swap, you should?

• Go back to Singleview and swap modem there

• Have a blank OPUS screen with no account.

  (If not, you will not be able to add the modem in Singleview)

• Once account is showing, click on the modem+

• Pull up account and then begin to input modem information

Next step on performing modem swap

• We don't do this part, transfer to Account services

• Fill out the information once you have the account pulled up

• Fill out the information in a blank OPUS (Don't search for the account)

• Input the previous modem that was on the account

Next step is to verify information is correct and then go to Singleview

• ONLY Supervisors can perform this step

Next step on a modem swap you need to do what?

• Go to OPUS and under 'Main Menu' select Seasonal

• Go to Singleview and under 'Order' select the correct modem

• Go Singleview and under 'Main Menu' select 'Change of Service'

• Go to Singleview and under 'Manage Customer'

Next step in Singleview is to input a 'Sales Reason' please use '______'

• Register

• Supervisor correction

• Call In

• Other

In this step click the '__________'- Next you will select the current modem on the account. Then go down to Reason code & select "De-Authorized-Office Correction/Change". Finally, we can select 'Swap' under 'Equipment Actions'

Enter the NEW '__________' under 'CMAC Search' then select the 'Search' button. Then, select the box for the Customer Owned Equipment (ONLY if the Customer Owned)

Select 'Submit' in Singleview and then you check to ensure information is correct under the order summary. If correct click "___________". Changes should reflect in OPUS as well.
