All centers must have a current schedule and activity plan posted.

• The schedule and activity plan can be combined into one document.

• The director's choice

Outdoor time must be provided daily, weather permitting. For a full day more than 5 hours, children must have a minimum of:

• approximately 20 minutes

• at least 30 minutes

• no less than 60 minutes

In addition to caregiving routines, daily activities should:

• be half indoor and half outdoor activities

• balance active and quiet play

• only include teacher-directed activities

Activities should be planned that are
