Book of Mathew 5&6

Chapter 5&6 meditation verse:

In chapter 5: Our Lord Jesus spoke and taught the multitude about who will enter the kingdom of heaven. Our Lord Jesus talked about the poor in spirit, and those who will receive blessings if they asked. “Rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who Were before you.” (5:12). Our Lord told us that we are the salt of the earth, and we need to be a good salt as the bad salt will be thrown out. Also, we are the light of the world, and the light cannot be hidden. “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (5:16)

In chapter 6: We learn when we give, we give with generosity and give in secret. When we give in secret our Heavenly Father will reward us openly. Also, when you pray you don’t make a show, but go to your room and pray Our Father … (a)   and when you are fast too you don’t need to tell or show but do it secretly. Do this so you will have treasures in heaven.

Verse 31-34 "Therefore, do not ———-, saying, What shall we eat? Or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear? For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your Heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the ———of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore, do not worry about ———-. For tomorrow will be worry about its own things . Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
