The Gospel of St. Matthew - Chapter 7 & 8

Meditation vers for Chapter7&8:

In chapter 7 our Lord Jesus Christ talks about how judging others is a sin and we shouldn’t judge others and if we did God will judge us too with the same measurement. We also need to learn to ask in our prayers and trust that God will listen to our prayers and supplications. At the same time, sometimes we see the way to heaven, but we need to go through the narrow way by the grace of God the Holy Spirit we will be able to reach heaven. Be watchful for those who teach the wrong teaching, the false prophets. And at the end remember the golden rule.

In chapter 8:

We read in this chapter about many miracles that our Lord Jesus did, healing the leper, healing the Centurion’s Servant, and the Centurion’s faith, and healing St. Peter mother -in-low. The miracle of calming the wind when He was with His disciples, and at the end of the chapter the healing of the two demon-possessed men.

We see the power of our Lord Jesus Christ over illness, demons, and nature.
