A truss bridge currently spans a deep river in a large city. There is heavy boat traffic under the bridge. Traffic backs up each time the bridge is opens for boats to pass through. This is an important site in the city and the citizens would like the bridge to look nice as a symbol for them. What type of bridge would you recommend the city replace the current bridge with and why?
