What is an Application Task?

• An independent study project for students to apply their learning.

• A general classroom activity designed to reinforce basic concepts.

• A task focusing on theoretical understanding without practical implementation.

• A specific initiative or project related to your role as a coach in the school's literacy program.

When did I start my Application Task?

• Novice Phase

• Accreditated Phase

• Specialist Phase

• Expert Phase

What is the main aim of my Application Task?

• To improve students' reading comprehension by expanding their vocabulary.

• Enhancing literary analysis through advanced vocabulary.

• Fostering critical thinking skills using a comprehensive vocabulary approach.

• Boosting language proficiency for better writing skills through vocabulary enrichment.

What is a MUST-HAVE component in the Frayer Model?

• Synonyms.

• Application.

• Definition.

• Opposite meaning.

How can the Frayer Model help in improving students' vocabulary?

• It provides a list of synonyms for the word
• It helps students memorize the word's spelling
• It teaches students grammar rules related to the word
• It provides a visual representation of the word, its definition, examples, and non-examples.

What change did I NOT make for my Application Task in the Expert Phase?

• More emphasis on students’ feedback.
